The article under the first link is quite shaking our previous conceptions of religion and the visitations of the gods to mankind.

These gods initiated the origins of contemporary civilization. supposedly high tech survivors of the previous civilization. They arose from the underground cities of the gods ion the aftermath of destruction. I believe this alludes to the cataclysmic destruction of the fabled,(now not so fabled) Atlantis.
